Thailand TISI

TISI is abbreviated form of Thai Industrial Standards Institute. TISI is a division of the Thai Ministry of Industry, responsible for the development of domestic and international standards that meet the needs of the country, as well as monitoring product and qualification assessment procedures to ensure that products meet the standards to obtain certification.

Thailand implements the TISI certification system, which combines compulsory certification with voluntary certification. For products that meet the standard, TISI mark is allowed to be affixed to product. For products which have not yet been standardized, TISI also offers product registration as a temporary means of certification.

TISI Certification For Cattery

The battery is in the scope of compulsory certification of TISI certification:

Standard: TIS 2217-2548 (2005), Refer to IEC 62133: 2002

Applicable battery: Secondary cells and batteries containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes – safety requirements for portable sealed secondary cells, and for batteries made from them, for use in portable applications.
