WERCSmart is a product registration database company developed by The Wercs in The United States, providing product supervision for supermarkets in The United States and Canada, and facilitating the procurement of products. Retailers and other participants in the WERCSmart program are facing increasingly complex federal, state, and local regulatory compliance challenges in selling, shipping, storing, or disposing of products. The security data sheets (SDSs) provided with the product usually does not contain enough information to comply with these regulations. The product data shall be standardalized through WERCSmart to comply with those regulations.
