Overview:

In line with the company’s strategic development direction in energy storage, two-wheeled electric vehicles and other aspects, MCM introduced the dynamometer in May, which is mainly used for simulating the condition of temperature test overload as per UL 2272, and motor blocking test. The addition of a dynamometer not only meets the requirements of UL 2272, but is also the first step in MCM’s move towards battery vehicles.

Brief introduction of dynamometer systems:

The dynamometer system includes dynamometer intelligent measurement and control instrument, magnetic powder dynamometer, industrial computer, cooling water circulation system, and test fixtures and fittings, etc. It not only realizes real-time measurement of the motor voltage, current, input power, power factor, frequency, rotate speed, output power, steering and efficiency, but it can also measure the environment temperature at the same time. For single-phase capacitor motor, it can also measure main winding current, secondary winding current, capacity and voltage, etc.

Its test capabilities are as follows:

• Torque: maximum torque: 50.0N.m; Accuracy: ±0.2%F.S; Resolution: 0.01N.m;
• Rotate peed: Maximum rotate speed: 4000rpm; Accuracy: ±0.1%F.S; Resolution: 0.0001rpm;
• Maximum power of continuous operation: 4000W; Short-run maximum power: 5500W

Remark: It allows locked-rotor, clockwise and counterclockwise loading test and automatic steering measurement.
