▍What is PSE Certification?

PSE (Product Safety of Electrical Appliance & Material) is a mandatory certification system in Japan. It is also called ‘Compliance Inspection’ which it is a mandatory market access system for electrical appliance. PSE certification is composed of two parts: EMC and product safety and it is also an important regulation of Japan safety law for electrical appliance.

▍Why MCM?

1.If the S/N 1, 2 and 3 parts on the label of imported products are not written on Vietnamese, after the customs clearance procedure and goods transferred to the warehouse, Vietnam importer needs to add corresponding Vietnamese on the label of the goods before putting into the Vietnam market.
2.Those goods that are labeled in accordance with Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP and have been produced, imported, circulated in Vietnam before the effective date of this Decree and the display of expiry dates on the labels of which is not mandatory may keep being circulated or used until its expiry date.
3.Labels and commercial packages that are labeled in accordance with the Government’s Decree No. 43/2107/ND-CP and have been produced or printed before the effective date of this Decree may be used for manufacturing goods for up to 2 more years from the effective date of this Decree.
On December 12, 2021, Vietnam government has released Decree No. 111/2021/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles in Decree No. 43/2017/ND-CP regarding the label requirements for goods entering Vietnam Market.
