In order to further meet the diversified certification needs of customers’ battery products and enhance the endorsement strength of the products, through the unremitting efforts of MCM, at the end of April, we have successively obtained China Classification Society (CCS) laboratory accreditation and China General Certification Center(CGC) contracted laboratory authorization. MCM focuses on providing customers with pre-product certification and testing services and broadens the scope of capabilities, and will provide customers with a wider range of services in the field of energy storage.
China Classification Society CCS was established in 1956 and is headquartered in Beijing. It is a full member of the International Association of Classification Societies. It provides technical specifications and standards for ships, offshore installations and related industrial products, and provides classification inspection services. It also complies with international conventions, rules and relevant laws and regulations of authorized flag states or regions to provide statutory inspection, authentication inspection, fair inspection, certification and accreditation services.
The scope of approval of MCM includes battery cells, modules, battery management systems (BMS) (GD22-2019) for pure battery-powered ships, and lead-acid batteries for ship lighting, communication and starting (E-06(201909)), etc.
