1、The first“Safety requirements of battery swap for electric bicycles”standard has been officially released, and the mandatory implementation date is November 1, 2021. The standard“Coding regulation for swapping power battery pack of electric vehicles” related to battery swap have also been released and will be implemented in December 2021. These standards fill the gap in the automotive industry standards and solve the urgent problem of no standards for battery swap modes.
2、GB 4016-2021 Lithium ion cells and batteries used in stationary electronic equipments – Safety technical specification is the first GB standard about stationary Li-batteries in China. Scope within this standard includes:
a)Stationary information technology equipment (IT equipment);
b)Stationary audio and video equipment (AV equipment) and similar equipment;
c)Stationary communication technology equipment (CT equipment);
d)Stationary measurement control and laboratory electronic equipment and similar equipment.
e)This standard also applies to uninterruptible power supply (UPS), emergency power supply (EPS) and other lithium-ion batteries and battery packs.
3、The plan for establishing a national strong standard for electric bicycle electrical safety that is compatible with GB 17761-2018 “E-bike Safety Technical Specifications” has been released.
The electric bicycle electrical safety standard submitted for approval has been notified on the WTO/TBT. The safety technical requirements for electric bicycle chargers have been publicly solicited on the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Since then, a complete safety standard system for electric bicycles will be formed.
